At the 2014 Ohio Linux Fest, Sine Nomine Associates Principal Engineer Mike Meffie presented Building a Private Data Cloud with OpenAFS, a valuable session on how organizations can construct a private data cloud using freely available open source solutions, in this case, OpenAFS.
The talk was very well received by the around 80 attendees. Afterwards, Mr. Meffie spoke to those attendees who stayed afterwards to express interest in setting up a cloud using OpenAFS themselves. Worth noting is those attendees who have used OpenAFS while students in college, and were glad to see it in a presentation at OLF.
The presentation slides are available to view online.
