Just a reminder that the 2019 VM Workshop at Virginia Commonwealth University approaches quickly (June 27-29). We are working diligently to make it a valuable educational event.
The VM Workshop Planning Committee needs you to participate in a very short Survey regarding Hands-on Labs at the Workshop. Your input will help us focus on the labs most meaningful to you, both at the upcoming Workshop and at future events.
We would also like to encourage you to submit a proposal for a session at this years’ Workshop. Suggested topics include, but are not limited to:
- A neat tool you discovered that saves you time and effort
- An idea you want to try out on other z/VM, z/VSE, or Linux on IBM Z practitioners
- A suggestion for an enhancement to vendor software
- An interesting problem you solved that may help other shops
Session proposals need not be hour-long topics. We can combine shorter topics into a session.
We fixed a glitch on our website that had caused the loss of session proposals submitted before February 1st. We apologize for the inconvenience but if you submitted a proposal before February, please resubmit it. Thanks!
