The offering is priced as a monthly subscription fee for a fixed number of support hours per month, with a per-hour charge for additional hours. The price does not change based on hardware configuration or number of images -- other than the base subscription cost, you pay based on what you use. Support for both operating system and applications included with the distribution is included in this price. Purchases of support and maintenance contracts are entitled to quarterly CD updates and download access for security- and integrity-related fixes via the Internet. Support purchasers receive source and binary updates for reported issues (with fixes automatically submitted to the appropriate package maintainers for permanent integration as required by package licensing), and assistance with configuration and enhancement of the included applications is covered as part of the support and maintenance contract.
